Description
This is easily the best picture I have ever drawn. I am so very happy with it. I spent like..eight hours on it. I did it completely in Photoshop 7 and on my Intuos 2 tablet. I am /so/ proud.

well hello there, just thought I'd reply to the reply (even though it's like a year later).
I guess the best advice is that old saying "practice makes perfect", sometimes it seems like I'm not getting anywhere when I try to develop my skills, but then some days I just find myself doing something that I had previously felt was beyond me. It's weird.
I have been trying to get rid of those short, choppy marks from my linework for years. At the moment it's just about constantly refining an image. However I have found that when creating images that will feature outlines it's best for me to ink the linework by hand and then scan it in to Photoshop as a greyscale image and adjust the digital image until it is the closest to the original.
At the end of the day though you've just got to find what works for you. Stick in there.
